Health and Well Being (Emotions)

Emotions can affect so much in regards to your overall health and well being.  It can get in the way of getting started, staying committed, motivated and reaching your goals.  There are always things that can get in the way, but the key is whether you allow them to derail your progress.  Getting in the mind set and staying there can be a struggle.  There are many tactics to help you stay focused from losing complete control and being on that roller coaster of highs and lows.

Are you an emotional eater lacking will power when there are life distractions?  Here are a few ways to deal with that emotional roller coaster and keep you focused on your goals:

  1. Meditate to help relieve stress and change your mood
  2. Surround yourself with like minded people
  3. Read Personal development or listen to audio
  4. Join a support group to keep you focused
  5. Attend a fitness class or commit to a workout program at home


Living for Balance is my ultimate goal, although it’s a struggle some days, it is something that I work at every day.  Life is meant to be enjoyed, and in part that is why I work so hard on my health and nutrition.  I want to work hard at living a life I love and enjoy.
