No Excuses (Workouts)

Working out daily is like brushing your teeth.  If you don’t do it for a few days you are not going to feel good and over time it may begin to show.  How about treating your workouts the same way as brushing your teeth?  Make it a no excuse part of your day.  Exercising on a daily basis can help you both physically and mentally.

List of Excuses

  1. No time
  2. Too tired, lack of energy
  3. Can’t get to the gym or classes
  4. Lack of funds
  5. Not enough space
  6. No motivation
  7. Depressed
  8. Feeling sick, injured
  9. Lack of confidence and self esteem
  10. More important things to do


  1. Plan it into your daily routine and put it on your daily to do list, like an appointment
  2. Get enough sleep, and exercise will give you more energy
  3. Workout from home
  4. Find free classes, walk and budget your money for your workouts which will save on medical bills later on in life
  5. Make space in your home, move furniture, do it outside – only need a small area
  6. Join a support group, and have a friend or family member join you
  7. Connect with like minded people
  8. Make yourself a priority and start off slow with modifications
  9. Commit for short durations and as you reach goals and succeed, you will feel more confident
  10. Get the family involved, have the kids workout with you – set a good example
