3 Day Refresh Journey

After committing to 2 rounds of the 22 Minute Hard Corps program and then taking a week off with relaxed nutrition and low key workouts along with too many treats, I decided  I needed to get a jump start with the 3 Day Refresh.

I wanted to share my experience over the 3 days I committed to the Refresh.

Day 1 – I did  Hammer Plyometrics and sweat like crazy.  By mid afternoon after taking in some sunshine, I was so tired I needed a nap.  I got an hour nap which I never do.  I really feel it was a sugar and salt detox.  I was quite irritable.

Day 2  – I did ISO Strength Chisel and it was tough to push through.  Upper body very sore.  Felt lethargic.  I did notice I was very subdued and calm with little reaction to things that would normally make me stressed and angry.  I felt kind of out of it and just easy going.  I did yoga at fit club and it felt great.  I knew there was just one more day.  I can do this.

Day 3 – No workout.  A bit foggy.  Just wanted to be done.  Tired again and took another nap.  Had a tough time falling asleep at night and up 2 times because of all the water.  Although, I slept great and felt very rested.

Day 4 – DONE.  I was a happy girl.  Back to my energize and recovery.  Did ISO Speed Hammer and felt great pushing through my workout.  Lots of energy.  Taught spin.  Feeling lighter.  No bloat. Better mood.  No cravings.  Feeling very relaxed.

Overall I enjoy the foods I get to eat along with the fiber sweep and vanilla fresh.  I lost 5.9 lbs. of bloat and it feels great to have my flat stomach back and can breathe easier.  I felt very bloated throughout the 3 days but much better on Day 4.  It is just a 3 day commitment but for some reason the days can seem long and tough to get through.  It is worth doing it to relieve the body of the toxins and to help re-focus with nutrition.

This is a great option to help you get back on track when you are struggling with your nutrition.  It is ideal to do after a weekend or vacation of over indulging or before a big event such as a wedding, reunion or vacation.  Glad I have this option when I fall off track.  It is all about living a balanced life and enjoying each day!
